First week of October is celebrated as the wildlife week all over the world. On this occasion ENVIS team took an initiative to reach out to the general public to spread awareness about the working of ENVIS scheme through a presention. Ms. Sailee Joshi, Information Officer at ENVIS briefed about the ENVIS website and the publication, BUCEROS under the ‘outreach initiative of BNHS’ programme organised on 5thOctober 2016 during Wildlife week celebration. IT assistant of the Centre prepared a special brochure for the event expressing the rich biodiversity of India. We added 10 new members for the BUCEROS through this event.
