Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology is a research and academic organization, located in Kachchh district of the Gujarat state. The institute is also known for its excellence in ecological research and development in arid and semi-arid areas of Gujarat.
Institute is organizing a National Symposium on “Dryland Birds: Strategy for Conservation and Management” at Bhuj on 9th -10th January 2015. The symposium will be attended by the renowned ornithologists of Gujarat as well as the country.
