Department of Environmental Science & Engineering at Indian School of Mines Dhanbad is organizing 3 Day Training Program on ‘Air Quality Assessment, Prediction and Control for Industrial Areas’ during September 17-19, 2015.
Air pollution, one of the biggest environmental issue we face, is often associated with urbanization and industrialization. As a developing country, India is facing challenges in maintaining comfortable environment with respect to air pollution. Keeping in view of these challenges this training program is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge on air pollution, its sources and harmful consequences. Main emphasis will be focused on its Monitoring & Assessment as per statutory guidelines, followed by air quality prediction and effective control technologies. Training program will also focus on hands on various air quality monitoring as well as analysis instruments.
