Regional Evaluation and Training Workshop for ENVIS Centres (located in Western Region) is scheduled to be held from 16-17 February, 2015 at National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI), Nehru Marg, Nagpur, Maharashtra. This workshop is being organised to evaluate the functioning of the ENVIS Centres as per the Guidelines of the ENVIS Scheme, framed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India. In addition to the evaluation, a training/orientation programme on Bhuvan Portal (a Geo-spatial platform of National Remote Sensing Centre of ISRO) has been planned.
