The next Regional Evaluation and Training Workshop for ENVIS Centres (located in Southern Region) is scheduled to be held from 5th - 6th February, 2015 at Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This workshop is being organized to evaluate the functioning of the ENVIS Centres as per the Guidelines of the ENVIS Scheme, framed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India. In addition to the evaluation, a training/orientation programme on Bhuvan Portal (a Geo-spatial platform of National Remote Sensing Agency of ISRO) has been planned.
